Our client is a data aggregator and mobile app developer. Their data architecture solves the problems associated with non-standardized parcel data between U.S. counties, regions and states. While covering more than 155.5 million parcels in over 3100 U.S. counties, they import and derive many important parcel attributes from a variety of sources into a single national parcel database to allow for analyses at regional and national levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce fully functional components of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms as per the direction stated in scope or requirements documentation
• Collaborate with web development staff, database administrators, and supporting systems engineers as required to implement new app features
• Ensure that apps and other code meet quality standards
• Participate in code review discussions as required and incorporate feedback and standards into application development practices
• Use collaboration and bug-tracking systems (Jira) to open, investigate, and resolve bugs
• Troubleshoot and debug problems as requested and implement fixes and improvements
• Implement and/or alter existing interfaces to improve functionality and/or user experience,
• utilizing design deliverables (e.g., wireframes) when available
• Perform in a collaborative, team environment, effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders as needed even while working in a remote capacity
• Implement and investigate tracking of software events and monitor as needed using Firebase or other systems
• Maintain availability during the work day (9AM to 5PM ET unless otherwise agreed upon by Management)
• Participate in onsite meetings as required (typically 1-2 times per quarter)
